The Let's Beat Diabetes Programme sits within the Planning and Funding Division of the Counties Manukau District Health Board which has overall accountability for the performance of the programme. LBD Management The Management Team of the Let's Beat Diabetes Programme are located on Level 2, CMDHB Offices, 19 Lambie Drive, Manukau City. The management structure is comprised of the Programme Director, Programme Manager and Clinical Director. Partnership and Governance Structure "Broad community ownership of, and input into, the Let's Beat Diabetes vision and ongoing operational decisions are seen as vital to its success." The following community governance and management structure was consolidated in 2005/06 to support community ownership and ideas at multiple levels, and ensure tight accountability and a clear, well supported, decision-making forum in the Partnership Steering Group (PSG). The Partnership Steering Group was established in 2005 and remains the key information-sharing and decision-making body for the Let's Beat Diabetes Programme. Its objective is to support the implementation of LBD by: - Providing leadership for implementation of the operational plans
- Ensuring co-ordination and collaboration across the programme's action areas and the specific initiatives
- Fostering collaboration across the sector and intersectorally where appropriate.
PSG is comprised of leaders nominated by the action area leadership hubs, representatives from Counties Manukau District Health Board, Maaori and Pacific communities, the LBD management team and partner organisations.
